This website was originally set up to help shorten the distance between my family in my home state and me, living here. Where is "here"? You know...right down the street on my road. Duh. It's now become my own personal therapy.

About me:
I'm a wife to Ronnie of 16 years and I'm very happily married. My husband is an assitant pastor at our baptist church (part time) and he works with the adult menally handicapped to pay the bills. I'm not such a great pastor's wife, I think. But He's still working on me. I love Him and I want to be all that He wants me to be. I figure He knew what he was doing when He called my husband to be a pastor. He knew that I was included in the package, so I know He's not done with me yet.

I have 7 kids, three of whom are what you call foster-to-adopt. That basically means that their case plan is headed towards adoption, and I've already agreed to adopt them as soon as they come available. I'm proud of all of my children. They are amazing kids. I homeschool my 4 biological kids...well five kids, if you include my three year old who insists that she do her school work. One of my foster children is in a public school system. My kids ages are 15, 12, 9, 8, 5, 3, and 1. They are a houseful and a handful. And I love every minute of it. Okay, maybe not every minute of it but most of it.

I love to read, but rarely get a chance. When things settle down, I look forward to having a weekend getaway...as in *I* get a way. Alone. Just me and God. But I need to wait until we know what's going to happen with the kids first. The TPR date (which stands for "Termination of Parental Rights) is supposedly September 29th.
